glxgears -display host:0 with a strange behavior

I have a guest machine with

virtualbox-ose-additions-5.0.26

So, before install guest additions when I run

glxgears -display spike:0

The window and gears of glxgears open and runs on a X ming server 
running at spike.

After install guest additions the window open on spike X ming server, 
but the gears is displayed on the machine where I run the command.

For example:

[ota at nostromo /usr/home/ota]$ glxgears -display spike:

The window opens in spike, but the gears is displayed in nostromo.

So, it looks like a bug in guest additions?
