OK. It means that I got this part right.

Heh...it looks I did miss 10.2.1.3 section. Now I installed few libs
in /compat/linux/lib and now the problem is:

[gour at atmarama VueScan] ldd vuescan
vuescan:
vuescan: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.11' not found (required by
vuescan)

However, there is:

lrwxrwxrwx  1 root  wheel 11 May 10 17:34 /compat/linux/lib/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.9.so

which has symbols only up to GLIBC_2.9.

Any advice how to proceed and not break other Linux-compatible
programs?

Sincerely,
Gour
