[PATCH]: indefinite waiting on exit

hi

in NetBSD they commited a patch to prevent indefinite waiting
of procs for their children to exit. I believe we have the very
same bug.. iirc it showed itself with boinc clients and opera...


can those of you who experience these problems try this patch:
