Trying 2.6.16 emulation (via sysctl again) on a STABLE machine

FreeBSD uws1.starlofashions.com 6.2-STABLE FreeBSD 6.2-STABLE #0: Mon
Jan 29 14:32:19 EST 2007

In this case, acroread gave me an error on startup.

/usr/X11R6/bin/acroread: fork: Invalid argument.

I couldn't get linux-opera to start either. I get segmentation fault
(core dumped).

Again, changing sysctl back to 2.4.2 fixes the problem with both
applications.

Spike: Whatcha doin', love?
Drusilla: I'm naming the stars.
Spike: You can't see the stars, love. That's the ceiling. Also
it's day.
Drusilla: No, I can see them. But I've named them all the same
name, and there's terrible confusion.
