When I try to build binutils, it stops building with the following error:

make[3]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/binutils-2.16.1-r3/work/build/ld'

!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call
stack if relevant.

I checked the build, and it built most of binutils (bfd, binutils,
etc, gas, gprof, intl, libiberty, opcodes), except for ld.

This failure always occurs, doesn't matter if PROT_EXEC is in the mmap
code or not.
