ports/55928: vmware2 broken on -STABLE, presumably by PAE import

Hi!

Does anybody have any thoughts about PR ports/55928 `vmware2 broken on
-STABLE, presumably by PAE import' and how to fix it?

Unfortunately, patches from PR don't work and `Last-Modified' time is a
whole week ago (while we're too close to 4.9-RELEASE).

I have the same situation as in PR (see console logs and png images
from Anders) with my recent
FreeBSD 4.9-PRERELEASE #0: Fri Sep 12 10:44:38 MSD 2003
linux_base-7.1_5
rtc-2002.03.05.2_2
vmware2-2.0.4.1142
