vmware 3.2 freebsd

i was wondering...how did you got vmware to install?

cose i get "is marked as broken: Kernel source files required"

i have the kernel source files, i just did a
sysinstall | distributions | src | sys

and the kernel is in the /sys directory.

also have linux_base installed.

what else am i missing?

i also tried installing vmware form sources, but it doesn't work.
it looks for lspci, lsmod, and i don;t have those.
i tried linking the lsmod to kldstat, and stuff like that.

no luck.
please help.
