Eclipse 4.5 (Mars) on FreeBSD.

By default, the FreeBSD Eclipse port is built without Gtk3 support.
However, Eclipse still tries to use the Gtk3 libraries if it detects
them on your system.

The 'fix' is to set an environment variable:

SWT_GTK3=0
