root using /bin/csh by default in FreeBSD-provided
FreeBSD-12.2-RELEASE-amd64.vhd

Outdated, as far as I can tell (from the attached screenshot):

Ideally
<https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/shells.html> should
make clear that csh(1) is the default.
