I'm sorry, but I'll have to leave it to others to provide a fix.

I'm currently not a FreeBSD user and pretty much unfamiliar with FreeBSD's
development process.

Also, parts of the project's Code of Conduct strike me as rather problematic,
so I'd be hesitant to contribute anything beyond the occasional bug report in
general.
