Quoting URLs helps, so
https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/book-preface.html

, and the ability to take on board new concepts as they are introduced."should the word "board" be "broad"?

Thanks for your query, but No. "Take on board" is correct.
(Think of taking goods or people on board ship, & the cry "All aboard!")

Though FreeBSD docs, manuals, & particularly mail lists etc abound
in typos & bad grammar, People care more about getting the code
right, so spelling mistakes often gets left, just fixed in passing
if noticed.

No,
- It would be inefficient
- There's low reponse to commiting fixes from things reported to
  this particular list.
- Lower response to typos (too much hastle for benefit)
- Official way to report bugs is https://www.freebsd.org/support/bugreports.html- Its too much hastle all round for typos.
- Being r dyslexic, further raises the cost/benefit ratio of
  filing & clearing spelling fixes.

Best dont bother with that, instead do something more efficient, eg maybe:
- correct tech facts in docs, & leave others to correct spellings
- or write code. (if dyslexia does not affect ability to write code?).
- or test new releases & current & report back, there's often calls for testers
- or run a user goup
- or organise install events etc
Enjoy :-)

Cheers,
Julian
