The starting url is:

https://www.freebsd.org/ports/

which is accessible from several paths on freebsd.org ie
https://www.freebsd.org/applications.html

There is a clear difference in the menu bar between 

https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi and the rest of the site, not just the
broken link.
