The release notes do not get modified after the release. For a more
up-to-date list of supported hardware, try here:

I am not sure if the driver supports the H240ar, and P440ar or not.

Note: the FreeBSD ciss driver is unrelated to the linux driver from
sourceforge that you linked to.
