I suggested

       <para>While it is theoretically possible to boot from a

         is not common and is not advised.  As such, this section
         does not describe how to accomplish that
         configuration.</para>

That still could be better.

         is uncommon and not advised.  As such, this section
         does not describe how to accomplish it.</para>

Actually, the last sentence is kind of a "this page intentionally left 
blank":

         is uncommon and not advised.</para>
