I've been working on this a while ago, as part of the DocIdeaList. The
wiki article on power consumption [1] was merged, but I can not find the
patch for it atm, only the output:

As this was pre-XML work and some additions were made in the wiki
article as well, I wouldn't object to someone taking over this work.
