Dear people,

Chapter 27.3 of the FreeBSD handbook (on wireless networking) tells that":
"In order to set up a wireless access point with FreeBSD, you need to have
a compatible wireless card. Currently, only cards with the Prism chipset
are supported."

Due to the great improvements in FreeBSD wlan, this is no longer true. I
created a quick howto for making a FreeBSD accesspoint using a ral-based
wlan card. I published this under GNU FDL so u can link to it or use it.

Greetings,
Daim
