Sure, but the three formats listed were ASCII, PDF, and PostScript.
ASCII and PDF are reasonably good interchange formats.  ASCII doesn't
have too many issues.  PDF includes needed fonts with the document and
the viewers generally let you get around paper size issues.  Both of
those things can be problems with plain PostScript documents.
