Is anyone besides me suprised to see that page?

I'd like to know something about its history.  Some words about FDP
governance would be welcome too; it seems I haven't figured it out in
three years.  (I've looked for info on both at www.freebsd.org, even
using the CVS and list search tools, but didn't find anything useful
with a reasonable amount of effort.)
