What are the FTP disk1, disk2, mini ISO images?

I guess I saw "disc" in the filenames but read "disk".  Thanks, Mark.

P.S. Even with the Handbook entry, it'd be helpful to describe the files
in the existing /pub/FreeBSD/ISO-IMAGES-i386/  README file.
