It won't run on 4.7-R, sorry. Oracle9i needs some IPC_64 calls in the
Linux emulation layer which were committed to -current last October. 
AFAIK these patches were never MFCed to -stable, so Oracle9i still will
not run with the upcoming 4.8-R.

I run Oracle9i on 5.0-R with one little patch to signal handling, which
I posted a while ago.
