How to install the CVS pluggin on lxplus231 user account?

On command :
[lxplus231] ~/mm_PV > cmt checkout GaudiExamples -r v7

I have a message:
#CMT> The CVS pluggin is not installed or is not at protocol level v1r1
# ================= No version specified for  GaudiExamples

Where could I see what to do?
