Multiport serial card Exsys EX-44388, where are the devices ?

But you showed it found 8, numbered 2-10.
I do not know what the other uarts are that are now showing up,
is there other hardware in this box?

If you remove just the card do the other uarts still show
up with that same patched kernel?
