A functioning module.  See the URL.

/boot/modules/radeonkms.ko may get loaded, but it
cannot find and load any firmware.  Even if one manually
loads the module with the correct firmware, the firmware
is still not installed.  Thus, Xorg shutdowns during
initialization.
