ino64? r318606 -> r318739 OK; r318739 -> r318781 fails SIGSEGV

FWIW I updated to r318860
and again

make -j12  -DWITHOUT_TESTS buildworld -DWITH_META_MODE -DNO_CLEAN

completed happily.

I guess need to update to/from the specific grns people had issue with
to reproduce.
