Given the discussion on one of the FreeBSD IRC channels about /dev/md0 being mounted at boot due to potential fallout from the random(4) rewrite (until r273919, potentially…), this is probably a symptom of this PR I filed a while back: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=191191 . I'll take ownership in getting the fix in this weekend/early next week.
