$ VBoxManage -v

# pkg_version -vs virtualbox
virtualbox-ose-4.2.18_1             =   up-to-date with port
virtualbox-ose-kmod-4.2.18          =   up-to-date with port

And the same is with
% VBoxManage -v
4.2.18_OSEr88780
Under ArchLinux.
