Time to kill fdc ?

Tried this, 20 times in a row, without any failures.
Did the same for
dd if=/dev/fd0 of=/tmp/junk bs=1048576
again without failures.
As stated before, this is on an old Pentium 4, now updated to 8.3-STABLE
r246624.
What hardware are you using? Maybe I can reproduce that panic if I can
find similar hardware in my "collection".
