compiling world fails with 9.0 and 10.0 from today (28.04)

OK.  That should build the userland OK.

No; I was referring to the part with the sub-heading

        To rebuild everything and install it on the current system.

or

        To upgrade in-place from 8.x-stable to current

depending on whether you're tring to update release/9.0 to stable/9 or
release/9.0 to head (for example).

Note that this is also an upgrade.
