bsdinstall: partitioning dialog doesn't feel "safe"

Today I decided to finally go ahead and repartition my external (USB)
drive (da3) that I had originally installed 9.0-BETA1 on (I've since
installed on, and am now running from, my main internal drive, ada0).
I wanted to try this with the new installer, rather than the old
sysinstall.

When I got to the partitioning dialog, I became a little concerned, in
that, unlike the earlier sysinstall, both drives' current partitioning
schemes were displayed, and I didn't feel too comfortable with making
any changes and possibly disturbing my working installation on ada0, so
I quickly exited and used the command line tools to accomplish the job.

OK, call me paranoid, but I'd personally much prefer to be able to
select a single drive as before, to know that I'm working only with that
device at the moment, and be able to feel reasonably certain that no
other device will be touched. The current dialog doesn't exactly foster
that feeling. While I can see where there may be some benefits to
having all known devices/partitions displayed at once (say, for the sake
of flexibility), nonetheless, it can also feel a little unsafe, if not
downright unnerving. Perhaps some alternative could be provided?

I've been away for a good while, and will admit to not having followed
any of the discussion leading up to the current design, but does anyone
think there may be something to what I'm saying? Over the long haul,
it could become an issue that you may be hearing about from users other
than myself.

Thank you, and I hope this isn't considered a waste of bandwidth. :-)
