Would appear to be a problem with your base system, as both
mailwrapper and /usr/libexec/sendmail/sendmail both use libutil.so.8:
minibsd8-dev:root/ # ldd /usr/sbin/mailwrapper
/usr/sbin/mailwrapper:
libutil.so.8 => /lib/libutil.so.8 (0x28083000)
libc.so.7 => /lib/libc.so.7 (0x28090000)
Try reinstalling libutil from /usr/src/lib/libutil perhaps?
