 Does  ataraid  translations and checksuming (in case of RAID5) now or

  All  these  ``raids'' are known as ``soft raids'' or ``fake raids'',
but  what  does  do  real  work  -- BIOS or driver (Ataraid in case of
FreeBSD)?
