AFAIK there are no drives which have multiple spin speeds. That's too 
complex.

Though WD may like to make it appear their GP drives, vary between 5400 
and 7200, all current models spin at a fixed 5400rpm. Looked at closely, 
their claims only suggest that they may in future release GP drives which 
spin at 7200rpm, but in truth they won't.
