I believe that is true with anything in ${PORTSDIR} -- if you remove a
${CATEGORY}/${PORT}, it will not be replaced through portsnap.  I am
not sure if this is true for c(v)sup, as I don't use it for my ports
tree, but I expect it would restore the missing directory/files/etc.
