freebsd svn repo busted or bad usage?

Either it's the version of svn or the Cygwin / Vista environment I
have setup, but I just spent the time to reconfigure my FreeBSD
RELENG_7 VMware fusion VM and things appear to be working swimmingly
now.

Maybe write a note up somewhere about this caveat?
