Atheros Wireless LAN - compile hal-20081015-sanitized.tgz

Hi there,

I tried to put all files in 
http://people.freebsd.org/~sam/hal-20081015-sanitized.tgz  in

    7.0-RELEASE /usr/src/sys/contrib/dev/ath

This How-To suggests it should work:

But I get this message:

    make: don't know how to make 
/usr/src/sys/contrib/dev/ath/public/i386-elf.opt_ah.h Stop Error Code 2

How can I compile this driver?
