x11/nvidia-driver on Sept07 snapshot

Hi,
is x11/nvidia-driver supposed to work on September 2007
-CURRENT snapshot? I've given it a shot and it compiles
fine, kldloads fine, but doesn't detect graphics card
for some reason

When attempting to run X, I get:
