[CALL FOR TESTERS] less v408 upgrade

Hi,

Here is a patch that updates less(1) in base system to v408.  So far as
I know the following PRs would be fixed with this release:

bin/115156

Given the relatively small change I will request for re@'s approval to
commit it against -HEAD as soon as I have my make universe result
checked.  Please let me know if this has introduced any regressions.
