Curious, is I/OAT [http://www.intel.com/go/ioat/] coming to FreeBSD soon
?

Seems to be in the works for Linux
[http://www.linux-foundation.org/en/Net:I/OAT] and OpenSolaris
[http://blogs.sun.com/markusflierl/entry/what_s_going_on_in].
