gdb 6.1.1 on 7.0-current. Any update?

Hello,

gdb on the Aug 07 edition of 7.0 current is still 6.1.1. If I am not mistaken, 
the actual version of gdb is 6.6. Any plan to update this before the release 
of 7.0?
