What do you mean? Even with simple test like this (below) makes the
-CURRENT panic too?

Open as many playback apps as possible
So how about artsd+6.2-PRERELEASE ? Simmilar issue has been reported
with this combination too, but I'm afraid the real problem is
somewhere else, maybe this one:
