libc/stdlib/malloc.c: assertion failed

Hi,

when starting the xfce4-panel (version 4.2.3) on

malloc.c fails with:

sources are of 2006-11-17 11:10 UTC

This happens in the "medium allocation" case, i.e. when mapelm.large ==
true.
