hard deadlock(?) on -current; some debugging info, need help

Just to anticipate the question, I'm running psi-0.9.3 from ports, and
I'm a little behind (current is  0.9.3_2). I can upgrade if you think
it's an issue, but otherwise I won't in order to change the minimal
number of things.
