On a typical desktop or server installation there's no need to allow it, but
sysinstall is a special case. To me sysinstall is like an embedded system.
You have special requirements there and you should be allowed to do
everything you want (you have to take care of the edge cases yourself).

But as you already said, as long as the md device doesn't use swap space,
everything should be fine.
