WRONG?! ME?! That'll be the day. ;) Seriously tho, I am aware of the gcc
versioning differences. But most of the "optimizations" can be performed
by choice. That is to say I can negate the additional opts. And really, I
didn't notice it in 5.0-RC2. It wasn't till 5.3-STABLE.
