upgrading: 5.2.1 to 5.3 OR a new 5.3?

Stay with 5.2.1 plus patches for now. 5.3 is still BETA afther this
comes the candidate releases (RC) and afhter this the acual release
5.3. Afther this comes patches and err_data.
