5.3.R fails to load kernel modules on startup

after fresh 5.3R booting up  linprocfs fails to mount in fstab
kldstat shows no add-on modules like linux.ko linprocfs.ko acpi.ko
loaded. I have linux_enable="YES" in rc.conf, AFAIK acpi.ko should be
loaded automatically but loader fails to find it. The same goes for
ipfilter ipnat enabled in rc.conf. I can load everyth. manually, though.
Everyth. worked fine on 5.2.1. Did I miss someth.?
