6-current 'corrupted mac on input' on cvs co

Hi!

When i try do to a cvs over ssh checkout of the ports
tree to one of my clients (both 5.3-beta7, the reposerver
is running yesterdays CURRENT), i get the following error
after some time of running cvs co:

Received disconnect from 192.168.0.5: 2: Corrupted MAC on input.
cvs[checkout aborted]: received broken pipe signal

any ideas? do you need more input?
