a view weeks ago i had the possibility to play with such a
machine. installation went fine (amd64 port), the on-board 
raid chip is supported (mpt), the on-board network card also 
works (AFAIR with the bge driver).

i did no stress tests on that box, only openssl speed and
compiling some progs, but the overall impression was that fbsd
was running stable.

if you have any further questions, feel free to ask, the box is
still in our test room.
