There is a read only UFS1 driver for Windows XP
http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=33782+0+archive/2004/freebsd-fs/20040509.freebsd-fs

MacOSX and Linux can read/write UFS1 fine as well.
