ssh -X problem

Hello,

does someone have an idea where this comes from :

bsd5: matlab
  (works OK)
ssh -X bsd5 : matlab
X Error of failed request:  BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter)
  Major opcode of failed request:  20 (X_GetProperty)
  Atom id in failed request:  0x169
  Serial number of failed request:  9
  Current serial number in output stream:  9

ssh bsd4
export DISPLAY=bsd5:0
ssh -X bsd5
matlab
 (works OK)

NB, idem for native jdk14 application, though no error
messages : windows stay gray or just disappear.
